What are Veneers?
At Sudbury Dental, we offer high-quality veneers that can completely transform your entire smile. Veneers are typically made out of thin porcelain and are constructed to look like real, natural teeth. The veneers can be used to cover imperfections on the very front of your teeth. These durable, long-lasting restorations can last for up to a decade.
Why do you need Veneers?
You may choose to have veneers professionally placed because you’re unhappy with your smile. You may have small chips, cracks and hairline fractures that are taking away from the beauty of your teeth. Likewise, a lot of our patients choose to get veneers because they have large gaps, spaces and an uneven look to their smile. No matter the situation, we at Sudbury Dental help to improve your smile and get you feeling confident about your appearance.
What makes you a good candidate for Veneers?
The majority of patients who would like to experience the benefits of veneers are eligible for the procedure. Typically, little to no local anesthetic is required, making the procedure quick and easy for most individuals. The veneers are durable and can last for up to a decade when taken care of properly. Dr. Kang will work to ensure your veneers look as natural as possible and fit comfortably.
What happens during the procedure for Veneers?
Before veneers can be placed, we recommend coming in for an exam and consultation. We will then buff the front of your teeth to make room for the veneers. Impressions, or molds, are taken of your teeth and sent off to a lab where the actual veneers are made for you. You’ll then come in for a second appointment so that the veneers can be perfectly put into place. Dr. Kang will then smooth out the veneers and file them down as needed. You’ll find your new veneers to be a comfortable and beneficial restorative option for your smile.
