What is a Dental-Related Emergency?
A dental-related emergency can strike at virtually any time and leave you in pain or feeling frustrated and uncomfortable. At Sudbury Dental, we provide quick, efficient treatment for all types of dental emergencies. Our goal is to provide comfortable, no-rush care for your oral and dental health. Be sure to contact our office if you or a loved one is experiencing a dental emergency.
Why do you need immediate treatment of a Dental Emergency?
If the emergency is left untreated and unchecked, it could get worse over time. Even simple and relatively minor emergencies can get much worse if they are ignored. This is why we recommend coming into our office as soon as you notice there is a problem. We provide care to both new and existing patients and can schedule immediate, convenient emergency appointments.
What types of Dental Emergencies are most common?
At Sudbury Dental, we feel that any dental situation that is causing you pain, discomfort or frustration is considered an emergency. We are open to accepting new and existing patients who require professional and immediate dental care. However, some of the more common emergency situations we regularly see include:
• Toothaches and Pain
• Gum Bleeding, Inflammation and Abscesses
• Post-Operative Complications
• Orthodontic Emergencies
• Lost Fillings, Crowns and Bridges
• Broken or Cracked Dentures and Mouth Guards
• Chipped, Broken or Fractured Teeth
What can you expect during your Dental Emergency appointment?
First, our staff members will work with your schedule to get you in as soon as feasibly possible. Next, our staff will take x-rays of the area, if needed, so that Dr. Kang can further help in treating the problem. Dr. Kang will perform an examination that looks for problems, infection and loose or lost restorations. We can provide care to you at this appointment as needed and reschedule you to come in for more advanced work. We can prescribe antibiotics if an infection is present that needs to clear before treatment can be started. Your emergency appointment will go quickly and we will make it as comfortable as possible for you.
If you are currently dealing with a dental emergency and need immediate care, call our office so that we can work to get you in quickly.
